Ski resort in Les Allues, Savoie, Méribel takes place in the 3 Valleys area, one of the most famous ski resorts in the world. It lies in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, at 1450 meters above sea level, only thirty kilometers from Albertville.
The site was born in the late 1930s at the behest of Peter Lindsay, a Scot looking for a new holiday site dedicated to sports. After installing the first ski lift in 1938, the Méribel station crewed later hotels and chalets to accommodate guests from all over the world. Only the Savoyard resort is a bear label station classified tourism, attracting lovers of winter sports and mountain life, as much charm of its architecture and its quality infrastructure.
