Thanks to the world's largest high-speed cable car, the Vanoise Express is included, together with Les Arcs, in a united region called ParadiSki.
La Plagne region is not small in itself, it includes a dozen resorts and mountain villages. Stations Plagne-Center, Plagne Village, Plagne-Belcott, Plagne-Monalbert are self-sufficient complexes consisting of apartments and hotels with restaurants, bars, shops and other infrastructure necessary for a ski resort. The architecture of these complexes for the most part has the form of multi-storey buildings connected by passages, and the eighteen-storey complex Aime La Plagne very much resembles a giant anthill.
Belle Plagne, Montchavin, Champagne, in contrast to them, have retained the appearance of traditional alpine villages. From the village of Les Coches, located very close to the Vanoise Express station, it is most convenient to move to Les Arcs. All Planes are designed with door-to-door skiing in mind.
