La Rosiere is great for a family holiday in the mountains. Children will be very interested here, and parents will be calm.
If we consider the entire ski area of San Bernardo, then it includes more than eight dozen tracks. Their total length is about 160 kilometers. Altitude difference - from 2650 to 1200 meters.
Trails for skiers of an average level prevail: there are more than fifty of them. There are not so many simple descents, as well as complex "black" slopes. The resorts of the San Bernardo zone are served by 38 lifts.
The picturesque town of La Rosiere is located in the south-east of France, in the upper part of the Tarentaise valley, at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level. From here you have a wonderful view of the entire valley and the Mont Blanc and Matterhorn mountain ranges.
The most convenient way to get to La Rosiere is from Chambery and Grenoble airports, located 120 and 150 kilometers, respectively. It is very important that Altibus direct buses run from these airports to La Rosiere.
Note that La Rosiere is part of a large ski area called San Bernardo. It includes several resorts. Moreover, both belonging to France and Italy.
