The ski resort of Val d'Isere (1850 m) is part of the structure of the ski stadium that combines the slopes in Val d'Isere and Tignes, and is located on the ski area "Killi" (one of the largest snow areas in Europe, named after the legendary Olympic champion). The winter resorts of Val d'Isère and Tignes are located next door on opposite sides of the mountain range.
Skiing in Val d'Isère is guaranteed at any time, since here in the very center of the protected area is the Pissailais glacier.
